Pioneers of Old Hopewell with Sketches of Her Revolutionary Heroes With Sketches of Her Revolutionary Heroes By Ralph Ege: "His sister Lucy married Zephaniah S Drake of Hopewell and for several years they resided on the old Sexton homestead After the death of his wife Mr Drake sold the farm and removed to Florida where he resided a few years when he returned to New Jersey He is one of the very few honored veterans of the Civil War who still survive and is well and active at the age of seventy five residing with one of his daughters in Trenton The children of Zephaniah Drake and Lucy Sexton were 1 Sarah M who married Henry Higgins of Am well 2 Mary wife of William Phillips of Hopewell 3 Josephine married Augustus Bodine and resided in Camden where he died a few years ago she now resides in Trenton 4 Roxanna married Samuel Smith who is now deceased and his widow resides in Trenton 5 John "
